'This is a record you have to hear to believe.' - The Sound Wont Stop.
'Out of everything the most impressive thing isn't even the strings or just the pianos but it's the actual songwriting and the way that everything melts into each other seamlessly....Things like that just aren't easy to do and in order to do something like it you have to have a real love for your craft which in this case is very evident.' - Buzz Slayers
'The latest release from Izzy Skinner has a way of crawling under your skin in the best ways possible...This is definitely an artist to keep an eye on. Especially for people that look for music that's outside the box.' -RagMag
'The heart of this album is very much the violin playing. I was expecting some great playing just based off her resume and thats what I got. 'Mr. Wizard is the opener and has a southern gothic like quality that I'm a huge fan of. Theres a lot to appreciate...and it felt like a good introduction to her sound. 'Wicked Witch with the Sweet Life Blues is the arguable highlight. The groove, the strings, the upright bass, the lead guitar, I absolutely loved this one and it might make you dance.' -Matt Jensen (D&C)
